Plate of the Week: 2002 Center for Food Action
Wednesday, April 28th, 2010
In our last installment of Plate of the Week we looked at at 1991 vanity plates. This week we take a look at the short lived organizational plate from The Center for Food Action.
The plates to support the anti-hunger group made their debut in 2002, but they weren’t big sellers. Only a handful of the 500 sets produced actually made it on the road.
The plate pictured is an unused example, as are most plates you will find in the collectors market.
The incredibly lackluster sales may make this the worst selling optional plate of any kind in North America.
Good luck spotting one in the wild, as they are one of the rarest New Jersey types theoretically on the road today.
If you have a plate you would like featured as a Plate of the Week, please contact us or put a photo of the plate in our flickr group and drop us a line.
